The short version: HoliBop! collects nothing, from anyone. It never connects to the internet. Every countdown is worked out on your iPhone from today's date and the holiday rules built into the app. There are no accounts, no ads, no tracking, and nothing is ever sent to us.
This policy applies to the HoliBop! holiday countdown app and its widgets for iPhone, published by Methodical Enterprises LLC ("we," "us").
An Android version is in development, and this page will be updated before it is released.
Nothing. HoliBop! has no user accounts and we run no servers. We never receive your name, your age, which holidays you count down to, or any information about how you use the app.
HoliBop! does not use the internet at all. The holidays, their dates, the wording and the widget art are all built into the app. The countdown is worked out on your iPhone from its own date and time zone, and the widget's number changes at midnight by itself, without the app being opened and without anything being downloaded.
When you set up a widget, you choose a holiday (or "Next holiday") and a look. iOS keeps those two choices with the widget on your Home Screen or Lock Screen, as it does for any widget. The app itself saves nothing else. These choices never leave your iPhone except through features of iOS that you control, such as your own iCloud device backup.
HoliBop! asks for no permissions. It does not use your camera, photos, microphone, location, contacts, calendar, or health data.
HoliBop! sends no notifications. There is no push server, and nothing is sent to us.
HoliBop! contains no analytics, no third-party SDKs, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We do not build a profile of you and do not track you across apps or websites. There are no purchases, subscriptions, or ads.
HoliBop! is made for families, and it is safe for children. It does not collect personal information from anyone, children included. It never asks for a name, email, age, or location, has no way to chat or share with other people, and never connects to the internet. There is nothing for a child to give away.
The only things HoliBop! keeps are the holiday and look you picked for each widget. Removing a widget removes its choices, and deleting the app removes everything. We hold nothing to delete, because we never had it.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and post the new version here.
