The short version: Gridiron Legacy collects nothing, from anyone. It never connects to the internet. Your saved games are kept on your device and are never sent to us. There are no accounts, no ads, no purchases, no tracking, and no way to chat with other people.
This policy applies to the Gridiron Legacy football career game for iPhone and iPad (shown on the Home Screen as Gridiron), published by Methodical Enterprises LLC ("we," "us").
Gridiron Legacy is in development and is not yet available to the public. This page describes the game as it is built today, and will be updated before it is released and whenever what it does with your information changes.
Nothing. Gridiron Legacy has no user accounts and we run no servers. We never receive your saved games, the names you type, your settings, or any information about how you play.
Gridiron Legacy does not use the internet. The teams, players, schedules, weather and every game are worked out on your device by the game itself. The helmets, logos and other pictures are built into the app. Nothing is downloaded and nothing is uploaded. There is no Game Center, no online leagues, and no iCloud sync of saved games.
Your saved games are stored on your device, in the app's own storage. A saved game holds your league: its teams, players, coaches, seasons and records, plus any names you choose to type in, such as a player's first and last name and hometown, a school, mascot, coach or stadium name, a playbook name, or the name of a saved game. These names are used only inside your game. Your settings, such as haptics and the radio call, are kept on the device too.
None of this leaves your device except through features of iOS that you control, such as your own iCloud device backup.
The radio call is off until you turn it on in Settings. When it is on, a voice calls your games using the speech voices already on your device, through Apple's own speech framework. The game does not record sound, does not use the microphone, and never uses Personal Voice. Nothing is sent to us.
Gridiron Legacy asks for no permissions. It does not use your camera, photos, microphone, location, contacts, calendar, or health data.
Gridiron Legacy sends no notifications. There is no push server, and nothing is sent to us.
Gridiron Legacy contains no analytics, no crash reporting of its own, no third-party SDKs, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We do not build a profile of you and do not track you across apps or websites. There are no purchases, subscriptions, or ads. There is no artificial intelligence in the app.
Gridiron Legacy is safe for children. It does not collect personal information from anyone, children included. It never asks for a real name, email, age, or location. A child may type names into the game, such as a player's name, but those stay in the saved game on the device and are never sent to us or anyone else. The game has no accounts, no chat, no way to share with other players, no ads and no purchases, and it never connects to the internet.
Because your saved games live on your device, you are always in control. Deleting a saved game in the app removes it from the device. Deleting the app removes all of its saved games and settings. We hold nothing to delete, because we never had it.
