The short version: DayWeaver keeps your day on your device. It doesn't collect your data, doesn't track you, and never sends anything to us — we run no servers and have no accounts. If you choose to connect a Google account, DayWeaver talks to Google directly from your device to read your calendar and tasks; that is the only network connection it makes.
This policy applies to the DayWeaver app for iPhone (formerly named Weave), published by Methodical Enterprises LLC ("we," "us"). By using DayWeaver you agree to this policy.
Nothing. DayWeaver has no accounts of ours and no backend servers. We never receive your tasks, notes, calendar events, reminders, or any other information. We cannot see how you use the app. (The optional Google connection described below is between your device and Google — we are not in the middle of it and get nothing from it.)
Your tasks, captured notes, preferences, and settings are stored only on your iPhone (in the app's own storage and its preferences). This information never leaves your device except through features of iOS that you control, such as your own iCloud device backup.
DayWeaver can ask permission to read your Calendar and Reminders so it can show them alongside your tasks. When you grant this:
DayWeaver can show your Google Calendar events and Google Tasks alongside everything else. This is entirely optional and off until you choose to connect an account. When you do:
If you never connect a Google account, DayWeaver makes no network connections at all.
DayWeaver includes a Share extension so you can send text or a web link into DayWeaver from other apps. Anything you share is stored locally on your device and handed to the app the next time you open it. It is not transmitted anywhere.
DayWeaver contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no tracking of any kind. We do not build a profile of you and do not track you across apps or websites. The only outside service it ever contacts is Google, and only if you connect a Google account yourself.
DayWeaver does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. It is safe for users of all ages.
Because your data lives only on your device, you are always in control. Deleting the DayWeaver app removes its data from your iPhone. We hold nothing to delete, because we never had it.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and post the new version here.
