BlueBench — Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026

The short version: BlueBench runs entirely on your device. It doesn't collect your data, doesn't track you, and doesn't send anything to us or to anyone else. There are no accounts and no servers.

Who this covers

This policy applies to the BlueBench app for iPhone and iPad, published by Methodical Enterprises LLC ("we," "us"). BlueBench is a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) scanner and toolkit, with a dedicated section for updating firmware on, and streaming audio from, supported Ambiq devices.

What we collect

Nothing. BlueBench has no user accounts and no backend servers. We never receive information about you, the Bluetooth devices you connect to, or how you use the app.

Bluetooth access

BlueBench asks permission to use Bluetooth so it can do its job. When you grant this:

What stays on your device

Any logs, saved devices, notes, or preferences you create in BlueBench are stored only on your device. This information never leaves your device except through features of iOS that you control, such as your own iCloud device backup or when you deliberately export or share a file yourself.

Analytics, tracking, and advertising

BlueBench contains no analytics, no third-party SDKs, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We do not track you across apps or websites.

Children's privacy

BlueBench does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Keeping and deleting your data

Because your data lives only on your device, you are always in control. Deleting the BlueBench app removes its data from your device. We hold nothing to delete, because we never had it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and post the new version here.
